MIL-SPEC SUPPRESSOR WITH FORWARD GAS FLOW TECHNOLOGY
AS TOUGH AS IT GETS! After extensive testing and development, we can now unveil the A-Flow series of professional suppressors. A-Flow is a suppressor with patented forward flow technology to vent expanding gas pressure from the front of the unit. This generates substantially less back pressure and less wear and tear on the weapon system. The coaxial design directs expanding gas away from the bore-line and prevents blowback pressure from the ejection port.
Intended Use
Extreme durability and high performance design to handle the roughest of professional and military use cases. Built to handle extreme rates of fire without failure in both 5.56 and 7.62 NATO calibres.
Design Features
- A combination of stainless steel in the QD muzzle device and Inconel in the suppressor maximise durability.
- Inconel is an alloy which has very high strength and extreme resistance to corrosion and erosion in extreme high temperature use cases especially compared to steel.
- Co-axial baffle design to port gas away from the bore line and vent it out the front of the unit through exhaust ports. This has the following benefit to the professional user:
- Less toxic gas exposure to the firer which is a huge benefit especially for Special Forces Operators who will train with thousands of expended rounds per day.
- Less sound pressure at the weapon side ear, reducing fatigue and cumulative hearing damage.
- Less grit to the eyes from direct impingement systems.
- Reduced gas pressure at the bolt carrier and ejection port, reducing typical suppressor induced excessive bolt carrier back-thrust and excessive cycling speed on direct impingement systems.
- Reduced recoil from reduced buffer & buffer spring velocity.
- Less wear and tear on rifle working parts prolonging service life and reducing costs.
- Less carbon build up in the receiver thereby reducing cleaning time and improving reliability.
- Less heat build up in the suppressor reducing NVG flare-out under high fire rate situations at night and less potential scolding and fire risk.
- Quick attaches securely to our proprietary muzzle device. A simple screw onto the device secures it for trouble free employment. A gas seal interface eliminates visual distractions by preventing blast escaping at the attachment point.
- Muzzle device included with the unit.
- 1/2-28 for 5.56 variant.
- 5/8-24 for 7.62 variant.
- Muzzle device included with the unit.
- Muzzle forward design to clear modular handguards.
- Not modular, it is fixed length.
- Tough Cerakote surface finish to handle high temperature use and wear&tear.
- Important note on reduction performance: Unique to A-Tec, our suppressors are tested to the latest MIL-STD-1474D military standard which is the most stringent and difficult standard to test to. Research shows our competitors do not test to this standard. For comparing to competitors products we prefer to let our reputation do the talking but you will observe our suppressors performing 5-10% better for a stated dB and significantly better for dB reduction vs. weight & length.
- A-Tec have only one grade of precision: Match Grade. A-Tec suppressors are second to none for concentricity, straightness and fine dimensional tolerances. This is especially evident in our bore apertures which are tight to the projectile to maximise sound reductive effect. To get peak performance from an A-Tec suppressor, one's rifle muzzle must be correctly crowned, threaded and shouldered.
