ATTACHMENT INSTRUCTIONS
- Check your gun is unloaded and totally safe.
- It is easiest if the gun is mounted in a cradle while you fit the suppressor and a friend to lend a hand is helpful.
- Clean your barrel choke threads. Apply a little grease or oil to the choke threads to keep the choke lubricated.
- Check you have the correct A-Tec A12 Choke by inserting and threading into your barrel lightly by hand.
- Screw in until it stops. The choke thread should be totally inside the barrel, leaving the separate thread for the Suppressor on the outside.
- Use the supplied A-Tec Choke Key to torque the choke tightly into the barrel.
- Screw on the lock nut (contra-nut) onto the A12 choke. Orientate with the cutouts for the wrench to the rear. Screw down until lightly contacting the barrel.
- Now screw on the A12 Suppressor. It can be a little tricky to find where the threads engage so take your time. Place the suppressor thread onto the choke thread, use a finger in the end of the suppressor to provide a rotation axis and use the other hand to rotate the suppressor to find the start of the thread.
- Screw the Suppressor down lightly until it stops, and check orientation (clock position). Now unscrew the suppressor only just enough to orientate it correctly.
- Screw the lock nut out to meet the suppressor.
- Use the supplied wrench to apply torque to the lock nut against the Suppressor to lock it in position. A hand holding the Suppressor to keep it clocked while applying torque to the locknut is required.
- Visually check that the Suppressor appears straight and true on the barrel.
