DESIGN
The Tier One Evolution M Lok Bipod has a revolutionary sealed roller bearing design and underslung mounting position for unbeatable recoil control. It's lightweight and ensures first-shot accuracy in any foreseeable application. A true innovation, delivering remarkable results.
The Evolution Tactical Bipod utilises a unique under-slung design giving it a lower centre of gravity, perfect for better recoil management.
It also features a unique rotational mechanism using sealed roller bearings which are impervious to sand, grit and dirt. This is what gives the bipod a silky smooth movement as it rotates around the barrel of the rifle.
The legs of the Evolution are pull-down action with several different detente positions. They can also be deployed at a 45degree rake.
The feet are designed to be interchangeable in the field by using the tip of a bullet, and the picatinny adapter can be tightened to fit any picatinny rail regardless of the varying tolerances.
WHAT HEIGHT DO I NEED?
Most shooters are more comfortable with the 230mm/9" version.
230mm
Ground to adapter underside, legs stowed: 135mm / 5.3"
Legs extended: 238mm / 9.37"
180mm
Ground to adapter underside, legs stowed: 90mm / 3.5"
Legs extended: 145mm / 5.7"
Optional 50mm Leg Extensions are available if extra height is required (see accessories via link at the bottom of this page).
HOW IS IT MOUNTED?
The bipod must be mounted at the extreme forend of your stock to enable the body to rotate around the barrel. It does not revolve around the stock.
For M-Lok, make sure you have an M-Lok slot right at the extreme end of your handguard/chassis. Some M-Lok rails have a blank slot at the end which will prevent you from being able to mount the Evolution M Lok Bipod far enough forward to function correctly.
Ensure that there is nothing forward of the mounting point which might obstruct the M Lok bipod. E.g. A sling stud. Same goes for the QD Picatinny.
MATERIALS
The Evolution Tactical Bipod evolved from it’s brother, the hugely popular Tactical Bipod and was also designed to provide the strength and stiffness needed for long range shooting, with the weight savings of a smaller, lighter bipod.
We achieved this by using space age materials including very high quality carbon fiber and 7075T6 aluminum, one of the toughest and lightest alloys available anywhere.
The result is a carbon fiber and aluminum bipod that is successfully tested up to .338 Lap Mag. calibre.
Nothing in the market offers the same unique blend of toughness, linear recoil control and weight reduction, making this bipod a no brainer for a tactical operator, target shooter or hunter looking to save weight and achieve perfect field performance.
CONSTRUCTION
Designed from scratch by us in our state of the art facilities in the UK, all parts contained in the carbon fiber bipods are engineered and machined on our own 5 axis CNC machinery, and final assembly for each bipod is done by hand by experienced and qualified engineers. We even make our own screws in house to ensure maximum repeatability.
This means that every part of the manufacturing process, from initial design to final assembly is quality controlled by us.
We mill every metal part of the Evolution bipod from solid billets of aerospace aluminium and all critical faces are machined in one operation.
The result is very tight tolerances that couldn’t be achieved through other manufacturing processes.
This allows the shooter to reduce tolerance stacking in the rifle setup (where the added tolerance in each of your parts from bipod through to scope mount add up to create a significant margin of error and inaccuracies down-range).
For some of our users accuracy and reliability are a matter of life and death, so we take both those attributes very seriously.
Ultimately all these improvements in materials and manufacturing mean tighter groups, a longer product life, and a more enjoyable shooting experience.
MIL SPEC
The carbon fiber and aluminum Evolution Bipod was originally developed with heavy professional use in mind, so we are confident that it has been tested against the toughest conditions imaginable.
By focusing on the rigors of professional use and the sturdiness required for that use we have created a bipod that will not fail in the field and which you will not be able to break.
WHAT IT COMES WITH
Each Evolution M Lok Bipod comes standard with rubber feet and a fixedadapter of your choice. The same for every version of the bipod.
Additional feet, locking keys and leg extensions are available and sold separately; follow the links at the bottom of this page.
WEIGHT
Carbon 230mm QD Picatinny: 420g approx
ADAPTER
The Evolution Bipod comes with either a QD Picatinny and M LOK and is available in Tilt only configuration.
The M Lok Bipod is a fixed version rather than QD.
Panning is not possible due to the underslung design of the bipod and the way that it revolves around the barrel. The body (U-shape) of the bipod is designed to revolve around the barrel, not the stock, so it must be mounted at the extreme forend of your stock.
We also supply specialist Blaser QD Picatinny Adapters if you are using a Blaser R8.
LEGS & ACTION
The bipod legs are designed to be able to be stowed forward along the barrel of the rifle when you are trekking or the rifle is otherwise out of use.
The bipod will remain firm on the rifle stock or picatinny rail via the new and improved SmoothCam QD adapter that we've developed for this bipod, and will not fall off even if the QD latch is knocked loose, like some carbon fiber bipods on the market. This is due to the 3 stage action that allows the clamp to be fully on, or loose but still attached, or full off, required a button to be pushed to move to each stage.
The legs then fold down into the locked bipod position manually and independently of one another.
